Agreement to terms

By accessing or using FollowerCleanup (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

Description of service

FollowerCleanup is a follower-management tool that analyses official data export files from social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn) to track follower changes over time.

The Service does not connect to, scrape, or access your social media accounts directly. All analysis is based solely on files you upload.

Accounts

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Accounts are non-transferable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload files you do not own or have no right to process
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm others
• Circumvent subscription limits by creating multiple free accounts
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the infrastructure

Subscriptions and billing

The Free plan is provided at no charge. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Scale) are billed monthly in advance. Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its code, design, and content, is owned by FollowerCleanup and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any data you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your follower data.

Third-party platforms

FollowerCleanup analyses exports from Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn. These platforms are not affiliated with FollowerCleanup. It is your responsibility to comply with each platform's Terms of Service when requesting and using your data export.

FollowerCleanup does not automate any actions on third-party platforms, and we make no guarantees about the format or availability of platform export files.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that follower data will be complete or accurate.

Follower counts and event histories depend entirely on the files you upload. Gaps between uploads may mean some changes go undetected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FollowerCleanup shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of followers on any platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in behaviour that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, through binding arbitration rather than court.
